Tempers Flare
Organizers for the Casino Affiliates Programs had to know something like this could have happened. They have been sparring back and forth with members from the Gambling Portal Webmasters Association for a while now, and some of the allegations tossed in the direction of CAP ownership have been incriminating.

That is why it comes as no surprise that at CAP’s London event, tempers flared and a scene was made in the lobby of the hotel where the event was taking place. Lou Fabiano, who resigned from CAP last week, was at the center of all of the controversy.

Early reports on the incident were that Steve Corfman, a member of the GPWA, had been beaten badly in the ruckus. It was later reported, however, that there were no punches thrown and for the most part it was a verbal confrontation.

Fabiano was seen by several different people to have challenged J. Todd from the GPWA to a fight outside of the hotel. Cooler heads prevailed and Todd stayed inside while Fabiano continued on his verbal rampage.

Police were called to the hotel, and many claim that force was used by several members of security at the hotel. The issue also had organizers asking security to remove members of the GPWA from the hotel. That is an unusual request considering the hotel is where many of these members were staying.

Eventually, order was somewhat restored and an exchange took place between J Todd and Warren Jolly. CAP has been eliminating many of their members in recent weeks after for questioning them about allegations  that surfaced about their ownership in a casino that was not paying out affiliates.

At first they denied the allegations, but eventually documents surfaced incriminating the CAP owners. Last week, Fabiano apparently stepped away from his position at CAP, citing health reasons.
